The staff of North Carolina Central University’s yearbook, The Eagle, is asking for your support by placing an advertisement in the 2011-12 publication. Since 1929, The Eagle has been responsible for documenting the lives and successes of our students and the university. With your support, The Eagle is able to purchase new equipment and provide professional and leadership development for the staff.

North Carolina Central University celebrated 100 years of Truth and Service during its centennial year in 2009-10. We are the highest-rated public HBCU in the country, according to the 2009 and 2010 U.S. News & World Report rankings. National Jurist Magazine has ranked our Law School as the “Best Value” law school in the nation two years in a row, based on its affordability, bar passage rate and job-placement record. We’re also home to two major biotechnology research institutes.

Alumni that have served on the staff of The Eagle have become educators, photographers, journalists, graphic designers, and business owners. By choosing to donate to The Eagle your business will gain more exposure, as well as sponsor an NCCU student’s future.

The Eagle will be printed in April 2012 and distributed to 2,500 students. It will also be available on our website for viewing and downloading by site visitors. By sponsoring The Eagle, not only will your advertisement be viewable in the printed edition, but a link to your company website will also be available on our website. Once The Eagle is available, it is anticipated that we will receive over one thousand hits on our website.

Please complete the advertisement request and return with your camera-ready ad by February 24, 2012.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding advertisement, please send an e-mail to ashley@nccueagle.org.

Thank you in advance for your support.
